It’s time for an update from RTV Monitor, with our monthly newsletter! This second edition is also the last edition of 2021. The year has flown by. Let’s take a look back on an interesting period and look ahead to 2022.
Technical integration
Not only for ourselves, but for our customers and partners too, the past year was all about technical integration. We integrated all of our technology with that of the former Media Distillery, into the new and improved RTV Monitor. Now, at the end of 2021, we can look back on a successful integration, enrichment of our product and an upgrade of our services. Many of you have already been introduced with our new and improved dashboard and some of you are already using it. We’re pleased to be wrapping up this project and to be able to focus on the next steps. But mostly to get back to what we do best: monitoring audiovisual content.
New Features
This year we’ve introduced and implemented two new, extended filters, we’re more than proud of: an advertising filter and a music filter. With these filters, we are now capable of reducing even more ‘noise’ within our monitoring content.
At the moment we’re busy finishing the development of another ‘upgraded’ feature: our speech recognition. The last tests are being done right now, so from the new year onwards, all of our customers and partners can access this improved feature.
Team RTV Monitor
In 2021, our team also changed. We were more than happy to see sales veteran René Wijne join us on sales and account management, Justo van der Werf in our development team and David Slagter with our Customer Success Team. Thanks to these guys, we’ve really been able to sprint forward this year. With Rene, our account management has seen a great improvement, and with the addition of Justo we’re now also dipping our toes into AI – something you’ll be noticing next year. With David we’ve now got a streamlined support team and a great addition to our product development.
Looking forward to 2022
What can you expect from us in the new year? After implementing and activating the new and improved dashboard within all of our customers and partners, our main focus will be on data enrichment. The focus will be mostly on the new logo detection features. Through all the known ways, such as this newsletter, our website and socials, we’ll keep you updated on any developments coming in 2022.
